DIY KIDS : SHAGGY MULLET AND SHORT CUT

No more chunky scissors or bad barber cuts. It's time you learn how to cut your kids hair so it's soft and effortless.

Some things to note - our model be Lucien. He's 11 and he has longish hair. We'll be focusing on technique and texture - first giving him a shaggy mullet, and then a shorter haircut after. These cuts work great on all genders, and I'm so excited to share with you the results.

For this class you will need the following:

  • Spray bottle of water
  • Fine tooth comb
  • Feather razor (long or short is fine, I recommend purchasing through Jatai) - Plus you can take 15% off your first Jatai order with code Jayne15.
  • Specifically for the short cut you will need an electric hair clipper, I recommend the Wahl Brand.

✴ YES, these classes are for everyone and most hair textures.

✴ This class is an edited video recording of the original live class. I love using the live class as I'm able to answer questions from other at home cutters like yourself and share them with you!

✴ I have a no return policy due to the nature of the digital product, and I ask that you learn this with an open mind. If you would like to see photographs of non-hairdressers who have cut their own hair with these classes, please refer to my story highlights on my Instagram.

✴ The razor I suggest is the Feather Razor (long or short is fine, I recommend purchasing through Hairbrained or Etsy). This razor is incredibly common in the haircutting world and if you cannot get it shipped to where you live, you can find it at your local beauty store or online in your area. Just look up “Feather Plier guarded razor.”

I can't wait to see your results and celebrate with you as you learn to do this!

Please take this class at your own risk. You will have access up to two years for this class. (As long as I’m selling it, you have access. But two years is guaranteed.) I do not offer one on one or email haircutting advice in addition to the class. Please keep in mind that your haircut will not be perfect and it will be nothing like a haircut you would get at the salon. That said it will be your creation and I believe wholeheartedly that you will be successful.
