DIY KID'S CUT : BANGS, LAYERS, AND BOBS
Join me as I teach you how to carve delicate layered petals, adorable bangs, and finish the cute and stylish, yet still age-appropriate bob cut. We will also talk through how to hold and use the feather razor, so no cutting experience is necessary. Learning to cut your kiddo's hair can be an incredibly empowering and useful skill. As a parent, it has been a lovely experience to see my child Sylvie develop her sense of style through collaboratively cutting her hair together.
The model for this class is a girl, but as always, all genders are welcome and encouraged to take this class.
DIY KIDS : SHAGGY MULLET AND SHORT CUT
No more chunky scissors or bad barber cuts. It's time you learn how to cut your kids hair so it's soft and effortless.
Some things to note - our model be Lucien. He's 11 and he has longish hair. We'll be focusing on technique and texture - first giving him a shaggy mullet, and then a shorter haircut after. These cuts work great on all genders, and I'm so excited to share with you the results.
For this class you will need the following:
- Spray bottle of water
- Fine tooth comb
- Feather razor (long or short is fine, I recommend purchasing through Jatai)
- Specifically for the short cut you will need an electric hair clipper, I recommend the Wahl Brand.
✴ YES, these classes are for everyone and most hair textures.
✴ This class is an edited video recording of the original live class. I love using the live class as I'm able to answer questions from other at home cutters like yourself and share them with you!
✴ I have a no return policy due to the nature of the digital product, and I ask that you learn this with an open mind. If you would like to see photographs of non-hairdressers who have cut their own hair with these classes, please refer to my story highlights on my Instagram.
I can't wait to see your results and celebrate with you as you learn to do this!
