DIY CURLY BANGS
Let’s talk curly bangs.
Yes, you can cut curly bangs—it’s actually easy! Bangs are just the hair that frame your eyes, cheekbones, and face. Bangs can be open and lay to the sides of your cheekbones, or they can go across your forehead.
In this class, we’ll cover:
- How to choose the right curly bangs for your face shape
- How to not cut them too short
- How to style them to look like gorgeous petals and not frizz
“Razor cutting being bad for curls” is a MYTH. If you like what I do on my feed, you’ll see that it's about the technique, not the tool. I bet you’ve had a bad scissor cut—you can also get a bad razor cut, but not with this technique.
Did you know I'm also teaching a separate DIY Layers Class? If you want to bundle the two classes and save $20. Check it out here.
✴ This class is recorded and you have access to rewatch as you cut!
✴ YES, these classes are for everyone. Even if: your hair is curly, you have a short or high forehead, your hair is thinning, your hair is huge and bushy, bangs have never worked on you, you have huge cowlicks, your hair is incredibly thin, your hair is silver or grey, you wear glasses, or you have curls. I cover all of this.
✴ The razor I suggest is the Feather Razor (long or short is fine, I recommend purchasing through Jatai. Plus you can take 15% off your first Jatai order with code Jayne15.) This razor is incredibly common in the haircutting world and if you cannot get it shipped to where you live, you can find it at your local beauty store or online in your area. Just look up “Feather Plier guarded razor.”
I can't wait to see your selfies and celebrate with you as you learn to do this!
